September marks another month packed full of world-class sport, with the Premier League, EFL, Scottish Premier League and Women’s Super League as the highlight for football, plus the thrilling continuation of the Formula 1 season and much more.

Here's everything you can watch on Sky Sports this September.

Football on Sky Sports

London City Lionesses vs Manchester United Women | Friday 4th at 6pm | Sky Sports Main Event & Football

The WSL will get underway, with London City introducing two-time Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas to the league with a mega fixture against Man United.

Kickoff at 7pm.

Arsenal vs Chelsea | Sunday 6th at 4pm | Sky Sports Main Event & Premier League

The red side of North London meets the blues of West London as defending champions Arsenal welcomes old rivals Chelsea to the Emirates.

Kickoff at 4:30pm.

Manchester United vs Manchester City | Sunday 13th at 4pm | Sky Sports Main Event & Premier League

The first Manchester derby comes early into the campaign, with the Red Devils hosting their sky blue city rivals. With the gap between the two clubs closing last season, this could be a tasty affair.

Millwall vs West Ham | Saturday 19th at 11:30am | Sky Sports Main Event & Football

For the first time February 2012, one of England’s fiercest rivalries will take place as Millwall hosts their bitter rivals West Ham.

Celtic vs Rangers | Sunday 20th at 12pm | Sky Sports Football

Another major and fierce derby on the same weekend, this time up in Scotland as Celtic and Rangers add the latest chapter to the Old Firm history book.

Liverpool Women vs Everton Women | Sunday 27th at 1:30pm | Sky Sports Main Event, Premier League & Mix

No love lost between the Merseyside teams as they meet for the first time in the WSL 26/27 season.

Kickoff at 2pm.

Chelsea Women vs Arsenal Women | Sunday 27th at 4:15pm | Sky Sports Main Event & Premier League

Three weeks after the men’s edition, Chelsea and Arsenal’s women will compete in the biggest capital city derby in the league.

Formula 1 on Sky Sports

Italian Grand Prix | Friday 4th - Sunday 6th | Sky Sports F1 HD

Monza. The Temple of Speed. One of Formula 1’s most historic, beloved and celebrated Grands Prix. The unruly support of the Tifosi for their home hero Ferrari is a sight to behold, and the race that comes attached is always a must-see.

• Qualifying: Saturday 5th at 3pm

Spanish Grand Prix | Friday 4th - Sunday 6th | Sky Sports F1 HD

For the second time this season, the Formula 1 circus heads to Spain, but this time and for the first time, they’re heading to the streets of Madrid for this brand new Grand Prix.

• Practice One: Friday 11th at 12:30pm
• Practice Two: Friday 11th at 4pm
• Practice Three: Saturday 12th at 11:30am
• Qualifying: Saturday 12th at 3pm
• Race: Sunday 13th at 2pm

Azerbaijan Grand Prix | Thursday 24th - Saturday 26th | Sky Sports F1 HD

A return to the ancient city on the Caspian Sea as the streets of Baku will be alive with the sound of 1.6-litre turbocharged V6s.

This will be an unusual race weekend, with the event proceedings taking place one day before the standard, meaning Practice One and Two will take place on the Thursday, Practice Three and Qualifying on the Friday, and the Race taking place on the Saturday.

Cricket on Sky Sports

England vs Pakistan Test series | Wednesday 18th August - Sunday 13th September | Sky Sports Cricket

Pakistan’s visit to the UK for a three-match Test series, which forms part of the ICC World Test Championship, is ongoing, with the third and final Test coming at the start of the month.

England has already claimed the series win, thrashing them in both the First and Second Tests.

Golf on Sky Sports

Solheim Cup | Friday 11th - Sunday 13th | Sky Sports Main Event & Golf

The women’s version of the Ryder Cup, the Solheim Cup, takes place in the Netherlands, giving Team Europe the home advantage. The teams are set and the course is ready.

BMW PGA Championship | Thursday 17th - Sunday 20th | Sky Sports Main Event & Golf

The PGA Tour season is over but the DP World Tour is still in full swing, with the final Rolex Series event of the campaign emanating from the Wentworth Club in England, the home of the headquarters of the PGA European Tour.

Tennis on Sky Sports

US Open | Saturday 29th August - Sunday 13th September | Sky Sports Main Event & Tennis

The final Grand Slam of the year comes from New York, with the best of the best in the men’s and women’s game descending upon Flushing Meadows for the US Open crown.

The premier women's basketball league is in full swing, and the competition thus far has been immense. No one team is running away as favourites, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most competitive campaigns in recent memory.

NFL | Sky Sports Main Event & Action

A new season of hard-hitting NFL will get underway this month, with the road to the Super Bowl providing week after week of thrilling action. Be sure to catch games live on Sky Sports on Thursday nights, Sunday evenings and Monday nights, with the ever-loved Red Zone showing all the action on Sundays all evening long from 6pm.
